Natalia, a California girl at heart, is ready to take her place in the spotlight. Diverse in her style and on-stage appearance, Natalia has the experience, desire and passion of becoming a promising new female actress and recording artist, but hey, working in radio never hurt anybody!

While managing to stay focused living in a single family home and her mother being terminally ill, Natalia found shelter in music and acting. As a member of the Drama Team, Choir and Band in Junior High, she was able to achieve being the first female percussionist in her High School after 10 years. This amazing Latina found her soul and deep musical inspiration by being comforted by the beats and rhythms of Latin and Tropi Jazz, Salsa, Hip-Hop and of course, Dance music. Yeah baby!

A big break came at age 15, when Natalia was discovered "Breakdancing and rapping" (Can you believe it?), at a local Radio Station concert in Los Angeles. Soon after, she was signed to Sunshine Entertainment where she recorded a various number of Pop and House Music tracks. This includes her first motion picture soundtrack credit when she recorded "The Woman In Me", for the Warner Brothers release of "Showdown in Little Tokyo", which starred the legendary Brandon Lee, Dolph Lundren and Tia Carrere. Background vocals were attained through none other than N'dea Davenport of the acid jazz band, "The Brand New Heavies". Soon after, Natalia's name was known, which gave her placement in several different entertainment spots, where she modeled for Sebastian International Hair and Trucco Make-up products, worked on various TV Show Pilots with the Sunshine Entertainment artist roster and choreographed dance showcases and music videos throughout the Los Angeles area. All of this was happening while she was an employee of Sunshine Entertainment working in Marketing and Promotion for the Gold Certified group, "The Movement", under Sunshine/Arista Records. Gaining as much knowledge, and definitely keeping herself busy at age 17 - 18, Natalia became the lead singer of the world-renowned techno group, "L.A. RAVE", also under Sunshine Entertainment. Her touring schedule would include Asia, all of Central and South America and all of the United States. At that time, her fans better knew Natalia as just: "Joya", meaning, "Jewel" in Spanish. After 2 years of shows and fun, "L.A. RAVE" had their last major concert in San Jose, Costa Rica. The group decided it was time to split up, leave Sunshine Entertainment and go on with their own solo careers.

In 1994, Natalia was signed to Aqua Boogie Records in San Diego as a solo artist. Releasing her long awaited single, "So Move It!", Natalia blew up in the underground nightclub scene, bringing her back to home which was the stage. Then in 1996, "More of My Love", was released. Boy, did that have a bang! By doing all of this, Natalia landed herself a spot on the Morning Radio circuit in May of 1997. Groove Radio 103.1, in Santa Monica, California, had been playing her song and was #1 for 6 consecutive weeks in a row. She also hit #1 on the Maxi-single "Hot Tracks" sales chart, beating Cher's "One by One" in Billboard Magazine in June 1996. Invited to be a guest "Love Doctor" twice on the Morning Show with the "The Poorman" at Groove Radio, (formerly of KROQ in Los Angeles, and the inventor of the "Loveline" you now see on MTV with Adam Corolla and Dr. Drew), the Program Director, Swedish Egil, decided to make changes. He hired Natalia to join "The Poorman" as a regular co-host along side now and again, Kato Kaelin! The new name of the Morning Show was "The Beauty vs. the Beast". This gave her the opportunity to interview some of Hollywood's most famous celebrities such as Samuel L. Jackson, Russell Simmons, "Money Talks" and "Rush Hour" Director, Brett Ratner, Alfonso Riebero, Kim and Keenan Ivory Wayans and the Wayans Brothers, TV Show Host, (at the time) for VIBE, Chris Spencer, Prodigy, Robert Miles, Rabbit in the Moon, Amber, India, Sash, Oscar De La Hoya, Dennis Rodman, Carrot Top, Ben and Jerry and the list will go on and on.

Natalia idolizes female vocalists such as: Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holliday, N'dea Davenport, Lady Miss Kier, Taylor Dayne, Teena Marie, Kristine W., and Robin S., with whom she has shared the stage spotlight at L.A's "The Dome" and the "House of Blues" on Sunset in Hollywood, California. She played Timbales and Congas with Kristine W. also at the "House of Blues". She also sang alongside Jennifer Paige, (Hollywood Records/Disney) for several months before Jennifer went on her European Tour. Natalia's third performance of singing at the infamous "House of Blues" was an accapella, which turned out to be a standing ovation! Natalia was asked by popular demand for three performances at the politically correct and now closed "Billboard Live" on Sunset Blvd. Funny enough, that's where she performed a Timbale set years ago with current Party Artist "Oba Frank Lords with Oscar G." of the smash hit "Darkbeat". Weird, huh?

Natalia found an opportunity while in Chicago, Illinois filming the "Jenny Jones Show", and no, she was not a screaming hurt child, she actually sang on the show….(Let's just get that straight)….Natalia met with the owner of Underground Construction Music founder Andy Adams, (RIP). He gave her the chance to run the new Promotions Department in their new Mount Prospect, Illinois office. At 24, with a Gold Album of the old Techno Group, "The Movement" underneath her belt, she took it, (Including her prayers!). That meant leaving her ill mom. It was a hard decision, but her mother wanted her to achieve her goals in the music industry. After completing her contract with UC, she had the opportunity to stay, but, "Chicago was just not my thing", she says. Her contacts were strong in Miami, Florida, so, she decided to try again in singing, only this time in Spanish.

"The weather is nice, the men are hot and the music is so diverse!", that's what she thought and that's what she found moving to Florida from Chicago, from Los Angeles in August of 1999. - whew!

Since then, Natalia has released maxi-singles by Underground Construction Music and Priority Records. She has also written and sang on several tracks for the old and new and upcoming albums of Tito Puente Jr., as a featured vocalist. She has performed with him in so many concerts including the opening of the Staples Center in Los Angeles with Chris Issak and Jon Secada, she sang the National Anthem for the Miami Heat, performed in front of 6,000 people at Calle Ocho, and that's not all! She is the 2002 Harley Davidson Calendar Girl and is featured in several nationally publicized media magazines as a representative.

All in all, Party spirted out in January 2001. Natalia immediately sent in her information before she decided to move back to Los Angeles. "That was my calling! Another Groove Radio, but, on a much bigger scale", she states. After several interviews, phone calls, and will just say, "Much persistence", PD Phil Michaels describes, Natalia had her first live broadcast in June 2002 for the new Party 93.1FM.

Using all at hand, Natalia is a confident Latin Woman who is still making the wheels churn by now learning how to produce her own tracks and finally learned how to mix records. She plans to take her music to another level and show the world that music, spirit, feeling and true singing is what will make people want her…didn't she earn it anyway?
