| The Challenge | Nuts About Health The client is a local pre-packaged nut company sold in major grocery stores fresh produce isles. The challenge was to change the perception of "nuts" from a snack served while entertaining, to a "healthy snack alternative" - good for kids, for grownups - and good ANYTIME of the day especially before or after working out. Nuts are full of WONDERFUL nutritional healthy fats and provide energy PLUS protein. |
| The Resource | Those 2 Girls In The Morning Go Nuts WFLC created a multi tiered program which was all NON SPOT and included live on-air content with the morning show, web-banners, a custom page with specific benefits of eating Nuts About Florida, Weather sponsorship on web, on-air promotional announcements, and Station appearances sampling the pre-packaged nuts at Golds Gyms as well as local grocery stores. |
| The Idea | Get Fit & Get Fine Those 2 Girls in the Morning worked out on a treadmill in the studio every morning with live mentions on the air. They encouraged listeners to work out with them, eat their "Nuts About Florida," and send in a picture of how they get fit for a chance to win a years supply of Nuts About Florida plus a one year membership to Golds Gym, and even a trip to Jamaica! |
| The Results | Sales Were Up! The client saw an immediate increase in his sales and was thrilled with the exposure to his brand. Also, the Get Fit Get Fine with Nuts About Florida message was so well received that he changed all his television creative to match the healthy snack alternative theme.
